The 15% de minimis Indirect Rate has forced constraints on first-time grant and contract applications with the Federal government. This has a high impact on companies submitting SBIR/STTR applications. The Delaware Small Business Development Center will present a webinar, funded by the SBA’s Federal and State Technology Partnership, to explain how this affects your budget and strategies to compensate for the lower amount of allowable fringe benefits and indirect costs.
Event Itinerary: The agenda for this 1-hour webinar will result in understanding, designing, calculating, and maximizing indirect costs and fee in an SBIR/STTR grant environment with the 7% Fee and 15% de minimus.
You will learn how to carefully interpret conflicting regulatory compliance and requirements.
Case in point is the new Department of Energy (DOE) 15% Indirect Cost Limit.
