The Do's and Don'ts of Creating a Small Business Plan for Funding is designed to be an exciting class that teaches entrepreneurs how to write a functioning document and enjoy doing it.

This training session is intentional in helping businesses reduce the stress of developing this document by focusing on simple and proven strategies to develop a complete small business plan.

We will discuss the following:

  • Focus on what is and is not needed in a business plan
  • Do's and don'ts of business plan templates and when and when not to use them
  • Why business plans are perceived as difficult and how to remove or address the difficulty
  • How to move from emotional business plans to profitable business plans
  • How to avoid simple mistakes or turn-offs in your business plan
  • How to write a business plan when you simply are not one who writes well ... and more.

Participants will also learn the major parts of a business plan and how to understand what the business plan is doing as a functional document for funding opportunities.

This is an in-person training located at the Emerging Enterprise Center - 920 Justison St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
