What You Need To Know About the Corporate Transparency Act

A new reporting requirement went into effect on January 1, 2024 that requires most businesses to file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Attorneys Kevin Baird and Jim Lennon will provide an informative and educational workshop on what the Corporate Transparency Act is and the steps you need to take as a business owner.

Jim Lennon has been practicing law for over 20 years.  He is a partner with Devlin Law Firm in Wilmington.  Jim primary represents clients on patent matters, especially in patent litigation, and advises clients on a range of intellectual property considerations for technology-focused businesses.

Kevin Baird is a Partner at Baird Mandalas Brockstedt & Federico, and practices in the areas of business law, corporate law and estate planning and administration. He enjoys working with entrepreneurs forming new business and advises on corporate governance issues and business-succession planning for existing business owners.
