This workshop presents essential information for crafting a competitive proposal to meet the mission, standards and requirements of the NSF, DOD, DOE and USDA SBIR/STTR programs. Presented by SBIR/STTR Dr. Michael Kurek, the program will cover the distinguishing features and technology areas addressed by each of the four agencies, getting registered so you can submit, preparing proposal components for maximum impact, how to approach commercialization planning, navigating the submission process, and more. Dr. Kurek and his team members have broad knowledge about the programs and expertise in developing persuasive proposals. Collectively, team members have coached over 1,000 applicants and reviewed hundreds of proposals. Agenda for program. Morning day 1: SBIR/STTR basics in general.
