The Delaware Small Business & Technology Development Center offers and coordinates a wide range of workshops, seminars, and courses throughout the year. Events & Workshops. Pre-registration is required for all education and training events.  In addition, we offer Online Training.  Click the navigation links to the left for more information on DSBTDC programs.

 

Instruction ranges from introductory business management workshops designed for start up businesses to advanced presentations aimed at assisting established companies.  In addition, each DSBTDC Office offers training courses geared toward their geographic location.

 

For example, the DSBTDC offers the entrepreneurial curriculum, FastTrac, a ten-week hands-on business development program designed to help entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to create, manage, and grow a successful business.   This course is designed for new and existing Delaware business owners outlining key components of owning and operating a business with guidelines to writing a business plan. 

 

QuickBooks accounting software, developed by Intuit, is one of the most popular and widely used accounting and bookkeeping systems for small businesses.  It is appropriate for newcomers and experienced users of the software. In this workshop you will learn how QuickBooks can help manage your business more efficiently.
