Information & Research

Need some information for a business plan? Just looking for ideas?

We have access to a wide array of directories, entrepreneurial sites, and almost anything you can imagine that you might need to run your business--invaluable information, whether you are writing a business plan, getting information on a topic like labor law, or just looking for ideas on locating new customers. Our dedicated advisors are more than happy to guide you in your research, but first, check out our Information & Business Research page and our Tools & Other Resources page; both have useful information that may meet your needs.

In addition to the resources housed in our centers, the Delaware SBTDC's affiliation with the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Delaware Technical and Community College provides access to state-of-the-art reference libraries as well as a network of research professionals. Other resources include the ASBDC National Information Clearinghouse and our network of over 5,000 small business experts. Some research questions can be answered by a member of our staff in a matter of minutes, others could become a project for a group of students in a business class or a paid consulting engagement for a faculty member.  You won't know unless you ask!

If you have a research or information question that you could not find the answer to through this site, please contact us.
