New Book Mastering Business Loan Proposals now available!

Most businesses need financing at some point. Matching the financing needed with the ability of the business or the individual to repay can be tricky. Researching and then preparing the loan proposal also requires a great deal of work. In order to make this process easier the DSBDC and Wachovia have published a new practical guide that contains information on the process, the loan programs, web resources, forms and a sample loan proposal. To learn more about the book and to get a copy for free, check out our training calendar for one of our programs on business lending. Remember that, there are a variety of loan products available. Although do not forget your local bank. They know you and your business and want to keep you as a customer. Also, for many very popular lending programs such as the U.S. Small Business Administration’s wide variety of products, the first point of contact is your bank. Keep in mind that there are no grant programs, except a few for technology research funding and potentially to assist very special purpose businesses.
